Important Fitment Notes

  • Some applications require Lyndall Profiled Brake Pads, including most 2000-2007 front/rear applications and many 2007-2017 Dyna and Softail rear applications.
  • *Pre-2000 Harley-Davidson models using original Timken-bearing wheels require an AD-99 adapter ring to reduce the rotor I.D. to 1.985" and require Lyndall Profiled Brake Pads.
  • **Some stock Brembo calipers may require modification for clearance between the caliper body and rotor carrier.
  • ***2014-2021 Sportsters require a conversion bracket when using the 11.5" x 5mm rotor.

Friction Ring Finish & Pad Selection

Black and gold finishes are cosmetic and can wear where the brake pads contact the friction ring. Lyndall recommends Z+ compound pads when preserving the finish is the priority. For more aggressive braking performance, Gold+ or Xtreme compounds are recommended.
