Pioneer for '15-23 Road Glide | Harley Handlebars

The Pioneer Series is KST's classic custom ape hanger for Harley riders who want more height without moving into a pointed or squared-off style. Its tight top bend and clean rise give Road Glide, Road King, Softail, Dyna, and Sportster builds a familiar Harley profile with more presence than stock handlebars.

The adjustable design gives riders room to set hand position, pullback, and comfort around their height and riding posture, making it a practical upgrade for riders who don't want to be locked into one fixed riding position.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

• Designed for the 2015-2023 Harley Davidson Road Glides including standard, special, CVO and limited. Will not fit the 23 CVO Model.
• This 3 piece, fully adjustable system gives you the versatility to customize the look and comfort of your Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The Vanguard Collection gives you the benefits of an adjustable handlebar, without sacrificing the looks of a traditional handlebar.
• These handlebars are 1.5" OD which gives you a very strong and robust look.
• Hand polished stainless steel finish gives the appearance of chrome but with the durability of stainless. High Gloss black powder coating is from the same supplier used by Harley Davidson.
• Super easy to internally wire—no more headache of running wires inside bars.
• Clamping surface is knurled to ensure a solid and strong hold with no rotation in the clamp.
• Base width is 13" outside to outside with a 1.25" diameter base.
• The Pioneer is your traditional custom ape hanger, featuring a tight bend on top with a 90 degree rise coming out of the clamp.
• Stock Road Glide handlebars are 9" tall and 11" tall on the Limited models.
• Can be purchased Fully Pre-Wired from KST.

FITMENT / INSTALLATION NOTES

2021-2023 Road Glide: 10" and 12" tall bars can be installed without replacing the brake and clutch and without extending the electrical system. 14" will require extending the clutch cable. KST clutch extension part #109812.

2015-2020 Road Glide: 10", 12", and 14" tall bars can be installed without replacing the brake and clutch and without extending the electrical.

If cables need to be replaced, KST recommends Dennis Kirk or J&P Cycles for all-in-one kits based on model year and handlebar height.

If changes have been made to the stock riser, verify the correct diameter clamping section before ordering.
